Xerox Recognised in Derwent Top 100 Global Innovators List, 2018 – 2019
What does it mean to be a successful innovator? Is it innovation for innovation’s sake? Or is it solving problems — constantly questioning the world around you to find new answers to old challenges?
At Xerox, we believe it’s the second. Customers are increasingly relying on tech company innovations not just to help them do more, but to improve the way work gets done. To disrupt industries, streamline processes, increase productivity and help them get the most out of their hardware and software. So we never stop asking questions about how we can improve the flow of work and make a difference for our customers.
Today, that methodology has once again been recognised with a spot on the Derwent Top 100 Global Innovators list. Methodically compiled from patent data analysis, this list measures innovation not just through volume of inventions, but through the difference they make — measuring quality, value in the global marketplace and downstream influence.
In the words of the report, “leading organisations continue to differentiate themselves through a laser-focus on high-value and high-impact innovation and a full embrace of emerging technologies.” This 2018 recognition marks the seventh time Xerox has won a spot on the list since Derwent began their annual analysis in 2011. Central to our inclusion is our continuing work to optimise our multifunction printer technology, document solutions and the extensive variety of apps and connectors in the Xerox App Gallery.
