Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival|
Hundreds of thousands of music fans flock to downtown Rochester, New York, each year to see marquee musicians like Buddy Guy, Michael McDonald, and Earth, Wind and Fire perform at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. Founded in 2002, it has quickly become one of the nation's most popular and most respected music festivals.
In our sixth year as title sponsor, we work behind the scenes to keep the festival running smoothly so festival organizers can focus on giving each attendee a memorable, first-rate experience.
|Deterring Fraud through Specialty Imaging|
Some festivalgoers purchase tickets to individual shows, but many opt for the all-access Club Pass. The popular Club Pass grants admission to all 19 club venues over the 9-day festival, allowing attendees to sample a wide spectrum of music. Like the festival’s motto says, “It’s not who you know, it’s who you don’t know.”
To prevent counterfeiting, tickets and Club Passes are printed with fraud-resistant specialty imaging effects such as FlourescentMark, GlossMark and MicroText marks. These text effects can only be printed with a Xerox FreeFlow digital front end combined with Xerox FreeFlow software.
With security-encrypted passes, festival organizers know that only paid attendees will get to know new music, while counterfeiters won’t get in at all. Just one more way we’re simplifying the business behind the scenes at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.
