Stock Attributes
For each stock, you can set the following attributes:
Name
Enter a name for the stock. Alphanumeric characters can be used, and symbols, with the exception of a slash.
MFR
Enter the name of the Manufacturer.
Size
Select the appropriate stock size from the menu. If Custom is selected, enter the customer stock size information (width, height, and inches or millimeters), then select OK.
Type
Select the stock type from the menu. If Custom is selected, enter the custom type information, select Add Type, then select Close.
Weight (g/m2)
Select the weight of the stock by using the scroll up and down arrows or by clicking inside the field and typing the weight.
Coated
Select the desired coating from the menu.
Color
Select the desired color for the stock from the menu. If Custom is selected, enter the custom color information, select Add Color and Close.
Grain: Long Edge Feed and Short Edge Feed (LEF and SEF)
Indicates the orientation of the stock in the tray.
Modulus
Select None or from 2–255 tabs.
Note:When printing tabs, you must set the Modulus option to Precut Tabs.
Hole Punched
If available, select the desired number of holes from the menu. The number of holes is dependent on the hole-punched stock being used.
My Ratings
You can set your own valuation for stocks. The My Ratings values are retained locally on the press. To set the rating for a stock, in the My Ratings column, click one of the 5 stars.
Last Updated
The Last Updated column displays the most recent date and time when a stock was edited or changed.
Comment
This section allows the user to enter information about the paper, such as a brand name or job-specific information. A maximum of 256 characters is allowed.

Advanced Setup
Select this option to open and access the Advanced Stock Setup options and for more information, refer to Advanced Stock Setup.
Test Print
Select this option to run test prints. For more information and instructions, refer to Test Print.
