Print Server Overview
The Production Press is configured with a digital print server, the Xerox® EX or EX-P Print Server, Powered by Fiery®.
One of the following print servers can be used with your press:
• Xerox® EX 4100 Print Server, Powered by Fiery®
• Xerox® EX-P 4100 Print Server, Powered by Fiery®
Fiery® Print Server version 2.0 include Fiery System version FS600 and have unique features that are not available on older Fiery® Print Servers. To find your print server version or Fiery System version, on the Command WorkStation window, go to > > > , then refer to Fiery Server or Fiery System. This information is accessible also on the Fiery configuration page, printed through Fiery® Print Server.
The print server accepts, processes, and manages document files for job submission to the press.
The PredictPrint Media Manager application is installed on the print server. For information on setting up stocks and custom profiles, and paper trays that the press uses, refer to
PredictPrint Media Manager.
