Paper Curl Correction from Advanced Stock Setup
Tip:
Changing the default setting can be considered a temporary solution because environmental conditions vary from day to day. It is recommended that upon completion of the print job, you return the option to its default setting.
Important:
Always run several test prints, evaluate the output, and if necessary, readjust the values before running your print job. This ensures that the desired output is achieved.
The Paper Curl Correction options include:
1 Sided-Face Up
Use this option to select the desired paper curl settings for one-sided print jobs that exit the machine in the face-up position.
1 Sided-Face Down
Use this option to select the desired paper curl settings for 1-sided print jobs that exit the machine in the face down position.
2 Sided
Use this option to select the desired paper curl settings for 2-sided print jobs.
Edit Settings
Additional settings are available for each of the three Paper Curl Correction options by selecting Edit Settings. These additional settings include both the preset and custom settings, and use lookup tables for curl control that are based on the percentage of toner area coverage of the job and the humidity values in the room where the press sits.
If you select the Edit Settings button, it opens the Paper Curl Correction Test Print window which displays additional settings that include preset and custom selections.
