Custom Curl Correction
There are nine customized settings, including the default No Curl. These settings are saved to the press memory and can be recalled and used at point of need. The nine settings include the following:
• Severe (Large) Upward
• Medium Upward
• Moderate (Small) Upward
• Slight (Very Small) Upward
• No Curl
• Slight (Very Small) Downward
• Moderate (Small) Downward
• Medium Downward
• Severe (Large) Downward
Use the custom selections if the Default and Types A, B, and C did not succeed in reducing or eliminating the paper curl.
• The selection is based on the printed output. For example, if the printed output is curled upwards, always select an upward correction.
• Select a value that is one higher or lower than the current output or value. For example with an upward curling output, select the next value of Medium Upward.
• Selecting a value that is two or more higher or lower can apply too much correction, and therefore, can cause paper jams and wrinkled output.
