Loading Labels
To load labels in Standard Trays 1–4 and Bypass Tray:
1. Pull out the tray until it stops.

2. Ensure that the paper guides are set in the correct position for the size of labels you are loading.
3. Remove any paper that is a different size or type.
4. To move out the length or width paper guide, release the guide lock, then slide out the length or width paper guide.

5. Load the labels in any of the trays:
a. Load the labels in the Standard Trays 1–4 and adjust the length and width paper guides to fit the labels. For short-edge feed, insert labels face down with the bottom edge toward the front of the tray.

*WARNING: Do not load paper above the maximum fill line. Overfilling can cause paper jams.

b. To load the labels in the Bypass Tray, open the flap of the Bypass Tray.

Load the labels face up in the Bypass Tray with the bottom edge toward the feed direction of the tray. Adjust the length and width paper guides to fit the labels.

6. Slide the tray back into the printer.

7. At the control panel, select the correct paper size, type, and color. Ensure that the paper type is set to Labels.
Note:To change the paper settings when the tray is set to Dedicated mode, refer to Configuring Dedicated Paper Trays.
8. To confirm the settings, touch Confirm.
9. To return to the Home screen, press the Home button.
