By following the global standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Xerox replacement cartridges for HP and Brother laser printers are sustainably manufactured. These environmental standards contribute to a smaller environmental footprint without compromising quality.
ISO 14000/14001 Certification
We adhere to the ISO 14000/14001 environmental management standards that specify requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental impact, planning, implementation, and documenting continuous improvement.
Smaller Environmental Footprint
Our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability is one of the longest-running and strongest initiatives in the industry. We use a proven waste prevention manufacturing process that makes efficient use of resources, minimizes waste, reuses material where feasible and recycles what can’t be used.
We work to eliminate the use of persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic materials throughout the supply chain; use water efficiently; and avoid the release of hazardous air emissions from our products and facilities worldwide.
We invest in technologies that reduce the carbon footprint of our operations and the solutions we offer to our customers.
Eliminate, reduce, reuse, and recycle packaging: that is our standard operating procedure. This is evident in our Environmental Health and Safety Requirements for Packaging Standard - EHS-710, and also in our General Packaging Standard - 88P311.
Xerox Green World Alliance provides a collection and reuse/recycling program for spent imaging supplies and is central to our commitment to waste-free products. Worldwide, our customers return more than 4.3 million cartridges, toner containers and other used supply items annually.
