Philanthropy at Xerox

From its beginnings, Xerox has helped shape the idea of corporate social responsibility. Our efforts reflect our belief that a successful corporation must be an active participant in society, and we are committed to giving back to the communities from which we draw our employees, our customers, and our freedom to conduct business.

We direct most of our philanthropic giving to a select, few organizations that engage Xerox people and deliver real, tangible results. The way we see it, every dollar we spend must deliver the greatest possible impact. It is through these programs that our people have given back for decades. Here’s how we do it:

Xerox Community Involvement Program: Our biggest and longest running program, XCIP provides the means to channel funds to local teams of employees to select and work on specific community projects that they identify in their communities.

The Xerox Science Consultant Program: The Xerox Science Consultant program enjoys a rich history of nearly 50 years. Active in Monroe County, NY the goal of the program is to improve student attitudes towards science, make it fun, interesting and accessible. Xerox Science Consultants deliver hands-on science lessons to students in grades 4-6 that "make science cool."

FIRST Robotics and LEGO League: For more than 25 years, Xerox's partnership with FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) brings together students and Xerox scientists to build a programmed, fully functional robot — from a box of parts or bag of Legos®. The partnership has helped thousands of students channel their curiosity through a challenging and fun-filled program that shows "real-life" science and engineering concepts at work.

In addition, many Xerox people from the factory floor to the C suite offer their expertise and experience to non-profit and membership organizations around the world.

Please be advised that Xerox is not accepting new grant requests at this time.
