I bought this printer with a discount because the cover in the back won't closed. However, there was nothing wrong with it. The cover won't closed because someone inserted a small screw on one side and so the cover won't fit. Ha, Ha, I made out with a savings of over $600.

Working remotely and switching to a Mac laptop created a need for a printer in my home. I am extremely pleased with his machine. It’s compact, scans, copies and prints. It’s amazingly fast. Print quality top notch.
This printer was very easy to set up and get going right away. It is much nicer than the Brother I had been using and I love automatic feed. I tried to scan a document recently and learned I had to download another driver to scan it. There is no scan function built into the printer, which is very odd. I had to search my PC under "Scan & Fax" and use that Windows app to scan my document. I could default to the Xerox printer but couldn't find a way to put a shortcut on my desktop to access this quickly and easily. My scanned documents were crooked no matter how tight the guides were set to the paper. The second issue I ran into is there is no way to connect my Chromebook to the printer to print documents via wireless to it. I see this as a fix that needs to be added.
I needed a new copier for my home and wanted it to also serve as a backup printer. The B305 serves that purpose by having wi-fi connectivity to my home network. Just got it, but so far it’s perfect.
