President, Developing Markets Operations
Yehia Maaty is president of Developing Markets Operations for Xerox. He was named to this position in January 2014 and appointed a vice president of the corporation at that time.
Developing Markets Operations (DMO) is focused on Xerox’s growth opportunities in emerging markets and geographies around the world, including Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, the Eurasian countries, India and Russia.
Prior to this appointment, Maaty was chief operating officer of Developing Markets West regions leading Xerox operations in Latin America and the Caribbean. He was named to that position in January 2012.
Maaty joined Xerox in 1992 as a sales representative in Cairo, Egypt. He has held a variety of senior positions in sales and general management including general manager of sales and marketing of Central Eastern Europe, Israel and Turkey (CIT), general manager of Xerox Egypt, and vice president and region general manager of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Maaty earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Mansoura University in Egypt in 1990. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, having graduated from its Advanced Management Program (AMP).
