Chief Operating Officer, Public Sector Business Group, Xerox Services
Dave Amoriell is chief operating officer of the Public Sector Business Group for Xerox Services. The Public Sector group provides business process outsourcing and information technology solutions to government, transportation and education customers worldwide. He was named to this position in June 2014 and appointed a corporate vice president of Xerox in February 2012.
Previously, Amoriell was the chief operating officer for the Government & Transportation Sector (GTS). GTS helps government agencies address transportation, federal, state and local government business challenges worldwide. The service offerings included tolling, public transportation, public parking, regulatory compliance, child care support services, electronic benefits processing, data center outsourcing, commercial/truck transportation and specialized local government services.
Amoriell joined Xerox Services after successful careers at IBM and Lockheed Martin. He spent twenty five years with IBM in the services environment with progressive responsibilities ranging from entry level programmer to program manager to vice president and general manager positions. He had program management responsibility for large federal systems integration programs in excess of $3 billion in total contract value. He had business responsibility for P&Ls in excess of $1.1 billion per year providing consulting and system integration services to Federal customers.
Amoriell attended Plattsburg State University of New York, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Math.
