Darrell L. Ford
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Darrell L. Ford is the chief human resources officer of Xerox Corporation. He was named to this position in December 2015. Darrell was appointed an executive vice president of the corporation effective Jan. 1, 2017 and a senior vice president in December 2015.
Darrell is responsible for the company’s human resource planning, sourcing, talent management, leadership development, pay and rewards, diversity, work environment and industrial relations.
Darrell joined Xerox from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) where he was a senior vice president and chief human resources officer since 2012. During his time at AMD, he was responsible for leading all areas of AMD’s human resources function. This included the company’s successful “AMD Way”, an ongoing effort to align the global employee population around a culture of commitment to help create enhanced value for customers and shareholders.
Prior to joining AMD, Darrell was vice president of human resources for the Retail and Lubricants divisions at Shell Oil, where he led a global team responsible for focusing on organizational effectiveness, talent management, culture, learning, leadership development, diversity and performance management. He joined Shell in 2008 from Honeywell International, where he served as vice president of corporate human resources and led the Centre for Organizational Effectiveness.
Earlier in his career, Darrell served as executive director of sales operations for AT&T Wireless where he was responsible for sales compensation, incentive design and the implementation of customer relationship management software across 10,000 sales representatives.
Darrell has a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University Business School, a juris doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. He is a member of Human Resources 50, HR Policy Association, American Bar Association – Labor & Employment Section, and the Society of HR Planning.
