ElemX Cooling Jacket
The motor inside of the ElemX operates within a heated chamber and requires a cooling mechanism to keep it functional. Instead of redesigning the chamber, Xerox engineers designed and 3D printed an aluminum cooling jacket that stabilizes the motor temperature and keeps the equipment running smoothly.

Aluminum CPU Cooler
Typical CPU Coolers consist of multiple components (gaskets, seals, brackets, etc.) and are sourced from several suppliers. When one of those suppliers cannot deliver due to supply chain problems, it results in unacceptable product delays. Using the ElemX, engineers redesign the CPU Cooler and print the entire assembly in one shot with improved functionality.

Fluid Pump Assembly
When a fluid pump fails or breaks, this causes significant challenges for the manufacturer and users, resulting in equipment downtime and lost revenue. Relying on casting or tooling can take months, maybe years. Instead, the ElemX can print the assembly under 24 hours, get it machined and back into production immediately.
