Xerox® AltaLink® Devices Achieve Common Criteria Certification for Security
Achieving Common Criteria Certification is not so common. That’s why we’re especially proud to receive the industry’s most stringent information security standard certification from National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP).
In fact, our AltaLink multifunction printers (MFPs) are the first to be certified by NIAP under rigorous new testing standards—the latest Common Criteria security protection for hardcopy devices. Here are a few things to know about this protection profile:
It intends to protect the information processed by an MFP from security threats.
It includes stringent new requirements for cryptography, authentication and secure protocols.
Testing is conducted by independent labs, resulting in the most up-to-date and stringent security endorsement for SMBs, large enterprises and governments.
