Xerox Supplies Recycling and E-Waste Management Programme

E-Waste Management Process at Xerox India

1. What kind of e-waste can Xerox India help you recycle?

Xerox collects and recycles printers and copy equipment, as well as toner cartridges.

2. What is the mechanism Xerox India follows to recycle e-waste?

Equipment E-Waste Management Mechanism

Xerox collects end-of-life devices from the respective locations of customers across India and stores these at 28 collection centres. The collected items are then moved to the main collection centre, located at Bhiwandi Maharashtra by Xerox. From there, the e-waste is transferred to the authorised recycler for disposal.

Cartridge E-Waste Management Mechanism

Xerox collects empty toner cartridges from its customers’ locations and stores them at 28 collection centres. Refer to the table below for details about the e-waste collection process by region:

All collected e-waste is sent to Delhi Collection Centre and then transferred to our authorised recycler for disposal.

Bhandup, Kalachowki, Lower Parel, Ahemdabad, Pune , Indore

All collected e-waste is sent to Xerox Collection Centre in Bhiwani, Maharashtra Centre, where it is then picked up by the authorised recycler for disposal.

Delhi Okhla, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai (Bhiwandi)

The authorised recycler collects the e-waste directly from the collection centres in these regions.

Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, Cochin, Vijayawada

Xerox India transports the e-waste collected from these regions directly to the authorised recycler location.
