Xerox, EVP, Chief Commercial, SMB and Channels Officer, Joanne Collins Smee, and Wilson Vega, Vice President, Xerox U.S. Agent and Velocity Channels have been honored by the CRN editorial staff to receive the 2022 Channel Chief Award for outstanding leadership.
For the second year in a row, Xerox, EVP, Chief Commercial, SMB and Channels Officer, Joanne Collins Smee, has been honored by the CRN editorial staff with a 2022 Channel Chief Award for outstanding leadership. The publication also added Wilson Vega, Vice President, Xerox U.S Agent and Velocity Channels to this prestigious list.
The 2022 Channel Chiefs are influential leaders who continue to shape the IT channel with innovative strategies, programs and partnerships. All honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff based on their dedication, industry stature, and accomplishments as channel advocates.

“CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs recognition is given exclusively to the foremost channel executives who consistently design, promote, and execute effective partner programs and strategies,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “We’re thrilled to recognize the tireless work and unwavering commitment these honorees put into fostering outstanding business innovation and building strong partner programs to drive channel engagement and success.”

In a year that continued to challenge companies and partners alike, Collins Smee and her channel team were vocal advocates for our channel partners, representing their need for new services, products and support to meet new market demands.
This included the recent introduction of Xerox® Workflow Central, a secure, cloud-based software platform that provides access to workflow automation and digitization tools to help their customers adapt to a work-from-anywhere environment and includes capabilities for sharing, collaboration and storage. We also continue to grow our IT Services business for small and medium-size businesses.
Wilson Vega was named vice president of U.S. Agent and Velocity Channels in 2020 and set out to create a sense of team and community during a time when everyone, partners and colleagues alike, were working in a remote environment due to the pandemic. He and his team focused on skills development and programs to help partner grow revenue during an ever-evolving business environment.
This included refreshed authorized service provider program and updated service partners ordering system as well as an expanded library of marketing content to enable co-branded marketing for partner through automated marketing tools and do-it-yourself campaigns.
