The European Digital Press (EDP) Association presented their Annual EDP Association Awards at drupa on the 8th of May. The winners "demonstrated that by listening to their customers and focusing investment in research and development they can continue to innovate". The DocuColor 8080 was named Best Production Cut-Sheet Printer – Light Production. Judges cited its automated color calibration and low gloss toner as features that led to their decision.
Creative applications printed on Xerox digital presses received honors from the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen (IAPHC) in its 2011 Gallery of Superb Printing Awards. Winning entries included the "Tasteful Pairings" booklet, printed on the DocuColor 8080.
Xerox was recognized with a Merit Award at Society for Technical Communucation 2012 International Summit Awards for the Tasteful Pairings brochure, printed on the DocuColor 8080 paired with FreeFlow™ Variable Information Suite.
