Touching coworkers on the front lines.
Care packages, from one worker to all the others serving overseas.
You’re with the Reserves or National Guard overseas. Twice a year you get a care package. From home? The USO? Wait, it’s from one of your coworkers.
Kay Robinson of our ACS company, to be exact. In 2003 she started sending care packages to her fellow employees deployed around the world. All of them.
And not just snacks, powdered drink mixes and toiletries. These packages are up to 45 pounds and can include portable DVD players, televisions and even high-definition video players. Pretty nice care package.
An American flag was flown in Kay’s honor at Camp Echo in Iraq. Now that she has it, she says, “It will never see so much as a speck of soap or a drop of water.”
