Xerox used supply items are returned to our partner Close the Loop. All parcel size returns (Single and Eco Box) are handled by UPS and travel through Hodgkins, IL. All pallet returns travel directly to Hebron, KY. Please visit www.xerox.com/gwa to utilize the Single Item, Eco Box, or Pallet Returns processes to recycle your used supply items.

DHL labels and labels referencing Laredo, TX or Avon, NY are no longer valid and should be discarded. Select items that participate in the Xerox pre-paid "take back list " program may contain labels in the carton. If a UPS return label for Hodgkins, IL is included, then package the empty item in the box from the new item, seal the box, and attach the label. Please hand the item to the UPS driver during their routine pick-up/delivery, drop the item off at your nearest UPS location, or schedule a pick-up at ups.com/1-800-PICK-UPS.

close How do I ship back Xerox Eco Boxes from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, or Alaska?

Xerox Eco Boxes may be returned from an offshore location (Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands or Alaska) as follows:

• On the single returns tab, select Xerox Eco Box Return from the product selector drop down menu or enter 008R13104 in the search field.
• Please enter the quantity needed and click on add to returns.
• Then select print label.

Please note these labels are only for the return of Xerox Eco Boxes. Use of these labels for any other purpose may result in the item being returned to you at your expense.

close What items can be recycled by Xerox? Does Xerox accept everything?

All Genuine Xerox Branded Imaging Supply items can be recycled by Xerox. View our Take Back List of single return items for which we fund shipping via our Single Item Returns Program. These single return items include select Used Xerox Cartridges, Waste toner containers, empty toner bottles, fuser modules, and Xerox Branded HP & Brother Replacement cartridges. For these items, pre-paid recycling labels can be downloaded at www.xerox.com/gwa.

No. Different part numbers and used supply items from different types of equipment may be mixed in Eco Boxes or on pallets.

Xerox funds shipping for those items on our Single Item Return Take Back List Xerox encourages customers to utilize more economical and environmentally friendly processes to return their items for remanufacturing or recycling. These processes include the new Xerox Eco Box Return Process as well as the Xerox pallet return program. These processes are free to the customer.

close Why does Xerox not pay for the return of all empty supplies?

Significant work has been conducted to look at the impact to the environment and the dollar value of bringing each used item back for processing individually. The items in the drop down menus on the website today are those items for which Xerox will pay the individual return shipping and processing costs. For items not specifically listed in the single item return "take-back" list, we ask that the customer share accountability with Xerox for this sustainability initiative. Items not on the "take back list" list can still be returned to our authorized recycling partner and Xerox will pay the processing fees associated with the asset recovery (for example - creating plastic resin from the used toner bottles) while the customer pays the shipping charges to return the items.

As an alternative to returning items individually, Xerox encourages use of the Eco Box and Bulk returns program as an economical way to return all of your used Xerox Genuine Supply items.

close Can I return non-Xerox empty supplies?

Currently, Xerox does not accept non-Xerox supplies for recycling. Contact the manufacturer for recycling instructions.

close When I click on an item to download a label, why does nothing happen?

Please be sure that JavaScript is enabled on your web browser. This allows for the shipper information form to appear , for the form to receive your information, and for the form to post the information to generate your label. For information on how to enable JavaScript on your browser, simply “google” enable JavaScript.

close How do I return Multiple or Large Quantities of empty supplies?

For your convenience, the Green World Alliance allows for Eco Box and pallet sized returns. If you have more than 4 items to return, please select the Eco Box Returns tab on www.xerox.com/gwa. If you have more than 30 used Xerox supplies to return please select the Pallet Returns process on www.xerox.com/gwa. If you have questions regarding these processes, then please contact the Xerox Webmaster.

close How do I recycle my items in "off-shore locations" such as Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Guam?

Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Island have the same return options as customers in the United States. Customers can enter the site by going to www.xerox.com/gwa and selecting their country in the drop down menu. You will then be redirected to the US site. Please locate your equipment model and part number in the list of participating items and follow the standard label download procedures. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands appear in the State drop-down menu. Please note, if you live in Alaska some locations may not be serviced by UPS. If you receive an error while downloading your label, then contact the Xerox Webmaster to request a United States Postal Service Label.

If you live in Guam and need to return an item for recycling, then please contact the Xerox Webmaster to request a United States Postal Service Label.

To order Eco Box Kits: If you are a customer in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Island, or Guam and would like to order an Eco Box, then please call 1-800-822-2200 to order product number 008R13104 Eco Box Kit. Customers in these regions are unable to place web orders for this item.

• Contact your Municipal Waste Service or Industrial Recycling Provider for recycling locations and more information as programs vary.

close Can I ship back full pallets?

• To initiate a pallet (bulk) return, please select the pallet returns tab, download the Bulk Returns Process, and follow instructions to complete your return.
• UPS Parcel service is unable to accept shipments that have been packaged on a pallet. They will accept large quantities provided they are individually labeled. When arranging pick up please notify UPS if you have a large quantity return to ensure the appropriate sized vehicle is dispatched.

close UPS requests an account number for pick up.

All fees associated with used supplies return are paid for by Xerox. This is controlled through the unique tracking number on the pre-paid UPS labels. Reading the tracking number(s) to the UPS associate when scheduling the pick-up should resolve the issue.

close Can I print more than one return label?

The single items returns process allows the customer to build a cart of labels to print. These labels are generated and available for download all at once eliminating the need to enter shipper information multiple times.

close Will I be charged a pick up fee by UPS?

All fees associated with single returns of used supply items on the take back list list, Eco Box Returns, and Bulk Returns are paid for by Xerox. This is controlled through the unique tracking number on the pre-paid UPS labels and account information on the bulk returns bill of lading form.
