Market Research Identifies Xerox as Market Leader for Managed Print Services


Cairo, May 26, 2010 Xerox continues to maintain a leading position in the field of managed print services (MPS), according to a recently released market research report. The MPS MarketScape report, published by research firm IDC, positions Xerox Corporation as a leader in MPS, analyzes the growing list of MPS vendors, and delivers an overview of competitive fitness.

Companies considering MPS should look at the breadth of a vendor's offerings and the strategic direction for future services, the report explains. It notes that a well executed MPS program can slash costs up to 30 percent, increase productivity, and improve environmental sustainability - but also points out that not all MPS suppliers have the ability to deliver in all three areas. The MarketScape report highlights a number of areas that decision-makers should evaluate when selecting an MPS supplier, including their focus on customer service, as well as ongoing cost management and accountability, and flexibility regarding distribution and sales.
