On her business unit:
The HPP IT group supports the business teams that provide various services to healthcare payer clients. Our organization provides the IT services that support current business needs as well as new programs and projects.
The team achieves its mission by consistent and accurate communication, gathering and reporting performance metrics, facilitating and supporting training plans, utilizing project server and TFS to ensure effective resource engagement and allocation, standardizing job titles, descriptions and salaries, and coordinating strategic initiatives across the HPP organization.
On her role:
The HPP IT Program Management group is in place to implement standardized processes and management tools, ensure and provide consistent project management, and coordinate all efforts between IT and the Business in order to provide superior customer service.
On her team:
Our team is very diverse and made up of people of many different backgrounds located in various states, as well as Guatemala and Monterrey, Mexico. Our team members are similar because we all share a positive attitude and a persistent drive to achieve our goals. Our team is focused on helping each other and supporting the organization to be successful.
Best part of the job:
My favorite part of my job is that it changes to meet the needs of the organization. I support various groups and people with program and project management needs and those needs are always changing. I am always learning and doing new things, which makes my job interesting and fulfilling.
On her future at Xerox:
My future is very open at Xerox. I know that hard work and results will open up opportunities that I may not have even considered or known. I enjoy my current role and should I want to make a change in the future, I am confident that I will find the right opportunities within Xerox to consider.
Proudest career achievement:
When I was asked to manage a project that needed some help, I was very proud of what our team was able to accomplish after I joined. We improved the customer relationship, set realistic expectations and met them, and improved the morale of the team. Xerox and the people I work with have provided many situations that allow me to use my strengths to help others and the company.
