ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 20, 2005  -- Responding to the complex challenges facing IT professionals, Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) is offering "IT XChange" - a series of free educational webcasts designed to provide practical solutions to specific IT and business problems, as well as Xerox and third-party perspective on trends in document management.

Increasing changes in information technology compel industry professionals to expand their expertise in key areas of responsibility such as evaluating, acquiring and managing traditional IT and network infrastructures. In addition, they play an increasing role in document-related products, software and services.

According to a recent Gartner survey, on average, most enterprises make four to seven major IT decisions a year.i Many of these purchases require months of departmental research to identify the best product or solution, translating into thousands of dollars and underscoring the importance of informed decision-makers.

IT XChange provides a forum for IT professionals and industry experts to share best practices and examine straightforward methodologies for reducing costs, enhancing employee productivity and ensuring return on IT investments. Participants will receive objective analysis from industry experts, relevant white papers and free software to help implement solutions within their own organizations.

Upcoming webcasts will focus on document security, document management, digital workflow, content management, and how multifunction systems are changing the way people work in offices small to large.

Running less than 30 minutes, IT XChange webcasts can be replayed on-demand, so IT professionals can review the information as needed.

The most recent IT XChange webcast, "IT Cost Control Through Smarter Document Output," discusses strategies for controlling document output costs, which can cost organizations upwards of 20 percent of their total IT budget. The webcast includes commentary from Andrew Johnson, vice president of Gartner Research's Digital Document and Imaging Group www.xerox.com/ITXchange1.

The next IT XChange webcast, about how implementing the latest technology, software and services can be easily customized to solve today's office document management challenges, is scheduled for June 28. To register, visit www.xerox.com/ITXChangeC3.
