Xerox Supplies Recycling Program
Xerox is committed to responsible and environmental business practices. The Xerox Green World Alliance encourages customers to recycle or dispose of used Xerox supplies in the most environmentally-friendly way.

Our supplies recycling programs have kept thousands of tons of supplies out of landfills. We lead the industry in alternatives for used supplies, including print cartridge reprocessing, waste toner reuse, plastics and metals recovery and turning waste into energy.

The instructions on this page are for customers in the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Select your location if you are in another area.

It is our intention to recycle all Xerox cartridges; however, some cartridges cannot be recycled using current processes. If you cannot find your specific cartridge on the following pages, please check with a local recycler. We cannot accept cartridges from other manufacturers or cartridges that have been refilled. Xerox Corporation reserves the right to send ineligible materials back to the sender at sender's expense. Please read the instructions for your cartridge thoroughly.

Cartridge Cartridge recycling is available for the following product types:

  1. Office printers (Phaser, WorkCentre C2424 and DocuPrint N Series)

  2. All other Personal Copiers and Production Printers, Multifunction, Copiers and Fax Machines
