Awards and Recognitions for Xerox Supplier Diversity
2007
Dan Robinson, Manager of Global Purchasing Market Access made the honoree list for "America's Top Diversity Advocates" in the recent inaugural issue of Diversitybusiness.com magazine. Dan received this recognition for demonstrating his commitment to solutions in diversity issues on a global and national level. The honoree list also includes such distinguish individuals as President Carter & Clinton and Talk show host Oprah.
Ten Most Veteran Friendly Corporate Supplier Diversity Programs 2007 award was presented by The Veteran Business Journal which recognized Xerox Corporation as one of the “Ten Most Veteran Friendly Corporate Supplier Diversity Programs”. This award was based on three criteria related to supplier diversity efforts to contract with service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses. The three criteria: (1) Quantitative measure of efforts (2) Quantitative measure of results (3) Qualitative measure of community involvement and overall efforts.
2007 Best Companies for Diversity award was presented by Black Enterprise Magazine which recognized Xerox Corporation for its commitment to supplier diversity. More than 1,000 companies were evaluated based on several criteria's, one being supplier diversity. Part of the criteria in achieving this award was the percentage of total procurement spending allocated to African Americans and other ethnic groups.
Hispanic Business Magazine named Xerox Corporation to its Diversity Elite 2007 list. More than 1,000 Fortune companies, American subsidiaries of global 500 companies and large U.S. public and private companies were evaluated based on several criteria's, one being Xerox Market Access Supplier Diversity program.
Xerox Corporation received the 2007 Michigan Minority Business Development Council (MMBDC) Corporation of the Year-Commercial Products award. This award was presented to Xerox for actively including certified minority suppliers in their procurement opportunities; assisting in the development of minority suppliers; promoting supplier diversity and business development within their corporation and to their vendors, as well as to other businesses and organizations.
2006
Xerox Supplier Diversity receives "Four Grand Slam Awards"
The Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council Inc. has recognized Xerox's commitment to supplier diversity by bestowing upon Xerox four prestigious awards: Corporation of the Year, Corporate Executive of the Year, Supplier Diversity Advocate, Diamond Sponsor
The 2006 Corporation of the Year award was presented to Xerox Corporation for demonstrating excellence in managing their Supplier Diversity Program. Xerox Corporation takes several measures to encourage and support supplier diversity - not only inside the company but outside as well.
The 2006 Corporate Executive of the Year award was presented to Robert Greenslade, former vice president of global purchasing, for leading his organization to a successful minority business program and exhibiting exemplary overall civic leadership.
The 2006 Supplier Diversity Advocate award was presented to Beverly Wilson, Market Access Program Manager, for serving as a catalyst to identify minority business opportunities within her company and the corporate community.
Xerox Corporation also received recognition as a Diamond Sponsor for its in kind donations and volunteers. The Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council is one of 39 regions making up the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
Just when you thought the awards were over the U.S. Department of Commerce presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Xerox Corporation for dedicated service on behalf of Minority Business Enterprises.
2005
Latina Style Top 50 Awards from Latina Style Magazine which recognized Xerox for providing the best professional opportunities for Hispanic working women and its Supplier Diversity program.
Diversity Business.com ranked Xerox 19th amongst 50 awardees for its supplier diversity programs with Minority and Women-Owned Businesses. Diversity Business is a National Multicultural Group specializing in Resource Portal (Database) for small businesses.
Diversity Incorporated.com recognized Xerox for its strong Supplier Diversity programs with Minority and Women-Owned Businesses. Diversity Career Magazine is a publication for technical workforce diversity including engineering and information technology.
Premier Supplier Award for Diversity recognized Xerox for it's social responsibility initiatives and establishing active programs to evaluate and support Minority and Women-Owned Businesses in supplier diversity.
Essence Magazine 35 Great Places to work Award received in May 05' from Essence Magazine, a renown magazine for African American women. Xerox was rated by the magazine as having a very good diversity program and cited as a great place to work for. Also, Essence rated Xerox Supplier Diversity Program with Minority and Women-Owned Business as being very good among all entries.
African American Chamber of Commerce(West Chester / Counties, NY)Award received in June '05 from the African American Chamber of Commerce-West Chester / Counties, NY. Xerox recognized for its continual support and contribution to the growth and development of African American Businesses in West Chester/Counties in NY State.
Upstate NY Regional Purchasing Sponsorship AwardReceived award in June '05 for its continual support and contributions to the Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council in its work with Minority Business and Contributions to the Council.

The Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council named Ken Syme, Vice President Global Non-Production Purchasing as Corporate Executive of the Year.
Asian Enterprise magazine placed Xerox among its 10 Best Companies for Asian Americans.
Doug Lord, CEO, Xerox Canada named Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Aboriginal Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) in Canada.
Xerox is a founding member of the CAMSC.
FORTUNE included Xerox in its list of the 50 Best Companies for Minorities ranked 17 out of 132.
