The Ethisphere Institute is a leading international think-tank dedicated to creating, advancing and sharing best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability.
That’s why we were so pleased when they named us one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies – for the fourth year in a row. Of the 100 companies on the list (derived from 100 countries and 35 industries), that puts us among only 44 companies that have been recognized four years running.
The distinction means that we continue to perform pretty well when it comes to things like corporate governance, innovation that contributes to the public well-being, and programs that promote ethics and compliance.
Four in a row is certainly an honor, but what we’re really interested in is making it a habit.
Go to Ethical BusinessGreat, you’re eligible for Medicare. Which one of the 2,200 medical plans do you want? Or maybe you’d like one of the 1,800 prescription drug plans.
Better idea: make My Medicare Advocate™ your first stop. It combines a Web portal, a call center and a range of written materials to help you find the best plan for you.
If your employer offers it, My Medicare Advocate, an offering of ACS, A Xerox Company, can help you compare costs and see if physicians are in a particular plan. And it can help save you money by providing access to group purchasing.
Employers win too. They get to offer you access to Medicare but with less cost and a lot less hassle.
Good for employers. Good for their people. Pretty simple.
Go to Customer ExperienceJudging from the waste produced by our toner plant in Webster, New York, you wouldn’t know it’s there. That’s because the amount of waste it sends to landfills is – zero.
Solids and wastewater are shipped to waste-to-energy plants. Metals, corrugated boxes, office paper and plastics were recycled. The result? Not a single ounce of waste.
Expensive, right? Nope, same as industrial landfill. That makes Webster happy. Us too.
Go to Greener WorldDiversity has been a hallmark at Xerox, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2009 we were:
And diversity goes beyond who you are. It includes what you do. iSixSigma’s named us to its list of Best Places to Work for Six Sigma Professionals, and in 2010 IDG’s Computerworld cited us as one of the Best Places to Work in IT. Human Resource Executive magazine put us on its list of companies Most Admired for HR.
Whew. We could go on, but you get the idea. We like it here.
Go to Great WorkplaceImagine being hundreds or even thousands of miles away from your family helping to build buildings in a foreign land. Imagine extreme weather, subpar living conditions and cultural and social pressures.
Now imagine receiving a shoebox full of the small comforts of home. That’s what happened to 250 construction workers who are building our new facility in the United Arab Emirates.
It’s the Shoebox Campaign, and it’s how our people showed their appreciation to some very important people in their community.
