Most Americans spend most of their time at work, and mostly at a desk. That kind of physical inactivity can make them vulnerable to health risks. Which is why the American Heart Association recognizes companies that are “fit friendly.”

In 2009 we earned the AHA’s Gold-level designation by offering our people support for physical activities, expanding healthful menu choices and promoting wellness.

The result can mean increased productivity, less absenteeism, lower turnover, even reduced healthcare costs. We’d call that a solid-gold investment.
