The World Superbike Championship
World Superbike is without question one of the most dynamic forms of motorsport in the modern sporting calendar. Superbike racing is crazy; it’s fast, furious and, of course, a tad dangerous. It combines athletic skill with dazzling imagery and delivers action-packed entertainment.
Superbikes are high-tech machines derived from the models sold by manufacturers in showrooms throughout the world. This similarity between the race and road bikes brings Superbikes close to the hearts of fans and this is reflected in the sport’s passionate following. The technology behind Superbikes is cutting edge, leading to exhilarating speeds in excess of 300km/h.
The Ducati Xerox Team is our major pan-European sponsorship. At the heart of both Ducati and Xerox are team-work and passion which unite these two great companies in this partnership. They are also key in determining success on the track and delivering ‘top business’ to our company.
World Superbike is the highlight of each event that also includes World Supersport, and World and European Superstock races. In World Superbike, teams compete over three days; Friday is practice day, Saturday is qualifying and Sunday is race day.
