Our Partnership with the US Open
As the highest-attended annual sporting event in the world, communication is critical behind the scenes at the US Open. The USTA was looking for a better, simpler way to coordinate event communications for thousands of employees, vendors, media and fans during the tournament. They found what they were looking for in Xerox: better document technology and broader capabilities from a global leader in business communications and document management.
Xerox Takes a Behind-the-Scenes Look
Go behind the scenes with Xerox and the Tennis Channel to learn more about how tournaments work, including volunteer coordination, transportation for your favorite players, and a day in the life of tournament staff. As the US Open gets under way, Xerox and Tennis Channel team up to show fans how on-air talent prepares for broadcast, how the channel built their beautiful lofted set inside Arthur Ashe Stadium, and to give a closer look at what Xerox is doing on-site at the US Open in 2013.
Xerox has always been behind the scenes, helping businesses work better – but now we’re asking fans to take us behind the scenes and show us how and why they love this sport and tournament. So, Xerox is proud to partner with the USTA to bring the US Open Social Wall
to life, both on the grounds and on your desktop. Fans can share their posts and photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #whyilovetennis for a chance to see them on the 8 ft. tall wall that stretches 50 ft. wide. Follow @XeroxEvents
on Twitter to find out about our daily theme and join the conversation on the Social Wall.
Plus, visit the WTA booth located in the US Open American Express Fan Experience to have your photo taken – and we’ll share it socially in real time using #whyilovetennis. As a global partner of the WTA, we’re delighted to join them at the US Open and bring fans a simple and fun way to share their love of tennis.
Xerox and Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day
Xerox is an official partner of Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, a family-friendly event full of tennis, music, games and fun; and is the title sponsor of the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day Performance Challenge, where some of the sport’s top players take aim at Xerox targets as they try to win for their chosen charity.

Serving the US Open
Xerox document technology and services are integrated into many key areas of the US Open: tournament operations, business operations, and in the media center, where all print devices are fully networked and consolidated for super-efficient color communications. This ensures that the press has every document they need in order to meet their deadlines and provide fans with up-to-date information.
You’ll see a wide variety of Xerox printer technology hard at work, including the WorkCentre 5755
monochrome multifunctional printer, the WorkCentre 7435
, WorkCentre 7556
and the WorkCentre 6505
color multifunction printer.
