Haga races hard It was a tough race, with Haga never really having any breathing room Fabrizio was keen to improve on his record at this circuit after a strong 4th in race one But unfortunately it wasn't going to happen today, a fall on lap three meant the rest of the race was a struggle He picked himself up and gallantly finished the race in 10th place
Haga meanwhile continued to fight off Biaggi and Rea And he successfully finished the race in first, regaining his Championship lead Not only has he put himself in the lead going into the last race, but he helped to bring home the constructors title for Team Ducati Xerox

And there was a familar face to present the trophy On paper Haga and Fabrizio are team mates, but once the racing began they were fierce title challengers Fabrizio, currently third in the Championship and having his most successful season yet, is desperate to gain as many points as possible And Haga, who last week lost first place to Ben Spies, is looking to win back top spot today
Haga made a great start, getting ahead of Fabrizio and hot on the heels of Biaggi Fabrizio remained close to Haga for the whole race, pushing him all the way And at the end of race one, Haga crosses the line in first, with Fabrizio following further behind in third - a great start for the Ducati Xerox Team Haga celebrates his victory And Fabrizio is clearly delighted with his victory, consoliding 3rd in title and leaving it with all to race for at the remaining two circuitsn

But unfortunately after a great start, Fabrizio slowly gets caught up by a number of other riders and finishes race one in 7th And in an equally frustrating fashion, Haga, leading for most of the race, gets over taken by Spies and even though he stays with him for the rest of the race, he's unable to regain 1st Fabrizio gives a pose for the camera, hoping to improve on his race one performance The Ducati Xerox pit team work on preparing the bikes for the next race Haga gets a realtime update of his progress

But, making an already frustrating day even worse, technical problems hit Fabrizio's bike and he's only able to manage a 9th place finish Fabrizio shakes hands with Spies, now the Championship leader, reminding him that Haga and himself are still hot on his heels Haga and Fabrizio will be back in action at the Ducati Xerox home circuit of Imola, raring to go and continue their pursuit of the World Superbike Championship

Noriyuki Haga walks away claiming sixth place, maintaining the championship lead. Fabrizio takes the podium with third place in Race 2. Haga reflects on his two races at Brno.
