| Doculink International turned to Xerox to help reach millions of customers 1-to-1. | |
| | | Doculink International is a leading provider of direct mail, data management and web-based electronic print and document management services, producing an average of 25 million digitally imaged documents per month. Their customers wanted greater flexibility and immediate access when it came to colour documents. So Doculink developed an approach called Virtual Print to offer easy and secure access from the customer's website and give employees access to an online catalogue that tailors key content involving select text fields, full-colour graphics and photographs to suit their particular needs. The company turned to Xerox in order to reach millions of customers 1-to-1 with customized imaging.
The Solution.
Xerox installed two DocuColor 2045 production digital colour presses that generate 2,700 impressions per hour and permit up to four hours of unattended run time. Featuring high-quality colour similar to an offset press, the 2045s offer the added capability of short, on-demand print runs and individualized output.
The Results.
The Xerox DocuColor 2045 helped the company to deliver added value to its customers in a number of ways. Print-on-demand capabilities have enabled Doculink's customers to reduce inventory, keep marketing materials current, and produce individualized materials rapidly and cost-effectively. Now Doculink enjoys up to 85% reduction in turn-around time and seamless integration in end-to-end web-based services.
