Tom Blodgett
Chief Operating Officer, Capabilities and Commercial Sector
Xerox Services
Tom Blodgett is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Xerox Services' Capabilities and Commercial Sector, which includes all services offerings for financial services, ITO, finance and accounting, HR Services, and customer care, primarily serving large enterprises on a global basis. He was named to this key leadership position in February 2014 and appointed a vice president of the corporation February 2012.

In his current role, Blodgett leads two important segments of the Services business. He leads the Commercial Sector, providing expertise and support for commercial sector markets and clients. In addition, Blodgett directs the establishment of global capability groups that develop and deliver common services, such as customer care solutions, across industries. These capability groups take full advantage of scale and standard methodologies to create innovative industry-leading offerings delivered with efficiency and expertise from end-to-end.

Prior to this appointment, Tom served as COO for Xerox Services Europe where he was responsible for the entire breadth of the company's lines of business in the region (excluding the transportation group).

Earlier in his career, Blodgett served as as chief operating officer of Xerox Services' commercial operations, centered primarily in the United States. He was previously the group president of the business process solutions delivery unit for Xerox Services, growing this business from $50 million to over $1 billion in annual revenue in ten years.

With more than 20 years of senior management expertise in business process outsourcing (BPO), Blodgett is an industry pioneer. In 1985, his family founded Unibase, a data entry company acquired by Xerox Services in 1996. The acquisition expanded Xerox Services' capabilities in the BPO services market and created a service segment dedicated to delivering business process services.

He was also instrumental in developing Xerox Services' Operational Excellence model, a key company differentiator. He was an early proponent of Xerox Services' global outsourcing strategy, having opened the company's first offshore location in Monterrey, Mexico in 1995.
