In his current role, Blodgett directs Xerox Services’ sales and delivery operations in Latin America. Prior to this appointment, Blodgett served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Xerox Services’ Capabilities and Commercial Sector, which included responsibility for the delivery of financial services, ITO, finance and accounting, HR Services, and customer care offerings on a global basis. In addition, he led the Commercial Sector, providing expertise and support for commercial markets and clients.
Blodgett was the chief operating officer for Xerox Services Europe where he was responsible for the entire breadth of the company’s services lines of business in the region. Earlier in his career, he was chief operating officer of Xerox Services’ commercial operations, centered primarily in the United States, and while serving as group president of the business process solutions delivery unit for Xerox Services, he was responsible for growing this business from $50 million to over $1 billion in annual revenue in ten years.
With more than 20 years of senior management expertise in business process outsourcing (BPO), Blodgett is an industry pioneer. In 1985, his family founded Unibase, a data entry company acquired by Xerox Services in 1996. The acquisition expanded Xerox Services’ capabilities in the BPO services market and created a service segment dedicated to delivering business process services.
Blodgett was instrumental in developing Xerox Services’ Operational Excellence model, a key company differentiator. He was an early proponent of Xerox Services’ global outsourcing strategy, having opened the company’s first offshore location in Monterrey, Mexico in 1995.
As an integral part of his approach to growth, Blodgett brings leadership to Xerox Services’ acquisition strategy and has successfully acquired and integrated several companies into his lines of business during his tenure with Xerox Services.
