Dastin is responsible for the delivering a portfolio of hardware and software solutions that simplify work for businesses of all sizes – from global enterprises to medium-sized businesses – across a variety of industries. Prior to this appointment, Dastin was president of the Enterprise Business Group responsible for the strategy, business products and solutions to meet the needs of enterprise customers. Previously, he was president of Xerox Office and Global Product Delivery Groups. Dastin has extensive experience in product development and delivery. He joined the company in 1981 and has held a variety of positions in advanced engineering, product development, marketing and customer support. His responsibilities have included technical program manager for Xerox's first office color digital copier, general manager for desktop printers, and chief engineer for segment six monochrome multifunction products. From 2005 through 2008, Dastin led several business teams including the Office Color and Monochrome MFP business and software /controller development. Dastin holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the holder of 22 patents, has received two Xerox President’s Awards and serves on the boards of the United Way of Rochester and the National Academy Foundation of Rochester. |
