Varon is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, worldwide audit and enterprise risk management functions, and real estate operations. She was previously vice president, finance and operational support for Xerox North America, providing financial and strategic leadership for the company's sales operations throughout the United States and Canada. She assumed this position in October 2004. From 1997-2004, Varon was head of Xerox investor relations, responsible for the communication and interpretation of the company's financial results and business strategies. In 2001, she was named to the additional role of corporate secretary. Varon joined Xerox in 1980 as a financial analyst and proceeded to hold a number of operational finance and controller assignments in Xerox's sales operations. In 1993, she was named director of corporate audit and led all facets of Xerox's worldwide audit organization. Varon holds a bachelor of arts degree from Binghamton University and a master's degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from Virginia Tech. |
