Carol Zierhoffer
Chief Information Officer
Carol Zierhoffer is Chief Information Officer (CIO) and appointed a vice president of Xerox effective January 2012.

Zierhoffer leads Xerox’s information technology strategy and operations globally. She is responsible for the planning, alignment, governance and delivery of all aspects of the technology infrastructure supporting Xerox’s internal business operations as well as the IT enablement of key Xerox offerings.

Zierhoffer joined Xerox from ITT Corporation where she served as vice president and Global Chief Information Officer. Prior to this appointment, she had a 20-year career at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where she held the role of vice president and CIO for three Northrop Grumman sectors.

At ITT and Northrup Grumman, Zierhoffer led several multi-faceted initiatives that included implementing common enterprise wide systems and global collaboration platforms; improving IT security; and establishing IT shared service delivery organizations. Most recently, she applied her experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures by leading the IT and Shared Services transition related to ITT’s separation into three publicly-traded companies.

Zierhoffer holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire and a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
