Supplier Diversity Awards and Recognition

Dan Robinson, Manager of Global Purchasing Market Access made the honoree list for "America's Top Diversity Advocates" in the recent inaugural issue of Diversitybusiness.com magazine. Dan received this recognition for demonstrating his commitment to solutions in diversity issues on a global and national level. The honoree list also includes such distinguish individuals as President Carter & Clinton and Talk show host Oprah.

Ten Most Veteran Friendly Corporate Supplier Diversity Programs 2007 award was presented by The Veteran Business Journal which recognized Xerox Corporation as one of the “Ten Most Veteran Friendly Corporate Supplier Diversity Programs”. This award was based on three criteria related to supplier diversity efforts to contract with service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses. The three criteria: (1) Quantitative measure of efforts (2) Quantitative measure of results (3) Qualitative measure of community involvement and overall efforts.

2007 Best Companies for Diversity award was presented by Black Enterprise Magazine which recognized Xerox Corporation for its commitment to supplier diversity. More than 1,000 companies were evaluated based on several criteria's, one being supplier diversity. Part of the criteria in achieving this award was the percentage of total procurement spending allocated to African Americans and other ethnic groups.

Hispanic Business Magazine named Xerox Corporation to its Diversity Elite 2007 list. More than 1,000 Fortune companies, American subsidiaries of global 500 companies and large U.S. public and private companies were evaluated based on several criteria's, one being Xerox Market Access Supplier Diversity program.

Xerox Corporation received the 2007 Michigan Minority Business Development Council (MMBDC) Corporation of the Year-Commercial Products award. This award was presented to Xerox for actively including certified minority suppliers in their procurement opportunities; assisting in the development of minority suppliers; promoting supplier diversity and business development within their corporation and to their vendors, as well as to other businesses and organizations.
