Automatic Meter Reading (MeterAssistant) - Automates the meter reading and submission process, eliminating the manual steps involved in collecting and reporting meter reads and ensuring accurate invoices.
Automatic Supplies Replenishment (SuppliesAssistant) - A simple, automated way of getting your ink and toner supplied without your involvement in the ordering process, it is your device that tells us when you need more consumables.
- Automatic collection and submission of meter reads and supplies-usage data from networked equipment

Xerox Smart eSolutions lets you choose the implementation that best fits your environment - all of which are free.
- Smart eSolutions automatic registration is available as a standard feature on our newest WorkCentre/WorkCentre Pro devices (i.e., WorkCentre 7655/7665/7675). No additional steps are needed on these network-connected devices. Many other Xerox products are ready to participate in Smart eSolutions when they are installed.
- For Xerox devices in small and medium sized applications, XDA-Lite can be downloaded and installed on your PC as a free download
- Ideal for large and enterprise applications, Smart eSolutions is offered with award-winning CentreWare® Web device management software. CentreWare® Web can be downloaded free
- If you purchased your device from a reseller please contact them to register for automated supplies replenishment
Xerox offers customers two ways to enable Smart eSolutions Assistant.
For 100+ devices we recommend CentreWare Web.

- Windows® 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate
- Windows Vista® Service Pack 1 Ultimate, Business, and Enterprise
- 512 MB RAM (1GB Recommended) for Windows® XP and Windows Server® 2003
- 1GB RAM (1.5 GB Recommended) for Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, and Windows Server® 2008 and 2008 R2
- 1.7 GHz processor or better
- Minimum free space is approximately 380 MB, where 280 MB of that is for the Microsoft®.NET 3.5 framework software, if not previously installed.

CentreWare® Web is designed to be installed only on specific computers running the Windows operating systems defined below. Please check with your Network Administrator if you are unsure whether your computer meets these requirements.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP Professional, and Windows Server 2003
- PC with a 600 MHz or higher Pentium III processor recommended
- 512 MB of RAM or higher recommended; (256 MB supported, but may limit performance)
- 3 GB of available disk space
- TCP/IP
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.05 or greater
- NTFS security access checking is recommended
