Benefits of Printing on Oversize Paper If you've wanted to print on paper bigger than 11"x17" or A3, XSIS now can offer you the widest print line of any cut-sheet production printer. XSIS has adapted high speed Xerox printers to run normal bond that is 12.5"x18.5" (318 mm x 470 mm). With selected stocks, it can even feed, image and stack paper that is 14"x18.5" (356 mm x 470 mm). While standard cut sheet sizes are designed to meet the needs of most applications, there are times when only a larger size sheet will do. For instance, special dimensions may be required for compliance with industry standards. In other cases, an extra large sheet is not strictly required but simply makes good economic sense. By enabling more cost-efficient imposition, it's frequently possible to improve throughput, reduce maintenance charges or decrease paper wastage. One such case involves book printing on the DocuPrint 180 NPS. If you are considering the DocuPrint 180 NPS for printing 6"x9" books, printing them 4-up on oversize paper will deliver higher throughput at lower cost. This capability is also available on the DocuPrint 4635 and 96 production printers. To learn more about applications for oversize paper, follow the links below.
If you have applications for large format paper not listed above, please contact XSIS directly for more solutions and options. |
